across the ninefold river

Across the Ninefold River is an original performance created by the Un-nameable Children’s Project. Born out of the loss of an artist’s family member, it is a community offering to bring mourning rituals and traditions into public spaces and community embrace. A team of professional artists collaborate with a children’s ensemble and local community members to create a living sculpture garden and river of the imagination. Held outdoors at Ashfield Town commons and in St. John’s Church of Ashfield, the performance is a free and open invitation to any and all, with procession, puppetry, live music and dance.
